Our customer wanted to power his property at Quadra Island, with affordable and reliable energy. In this region, the sun shines abundantly during the spring and summer, making it a great location to receive solar power. To increase the efficiency of solar power, the customer decided to pair its solar array with our battery energy storage system.
Moment Energy’s battery energy storage system enabled our client to go completely off-grid and generate their own electricity using solar power. This pack is four times as large as the first project and provides valuable information on how Moment Energy's batteries perform in off-grid sites in a regular use case, and how it responds to different loads such as pumps, heaters, and household power loads.
